The glob’s green arms look tiny on its blobby body. But its hands are still twice the size of your whole ship. It plucks the ship out of the melted chocolate and lifts you toward its mouth.

Your ship isn’t built for battle, but you’ve got some basic weapons. You take aim and fire your laser straight into the alien’s open mouth.

“ARRRRRGH!” the alien screams.

The massive beast drops your ship like a toy. It slams back to the ground, bounces, and rolls straight into a lake of soda pop. Hansel desperately tries to start the engines, but it’s useless. Bubbles fizz all around you as the ship begins to sink. You both bail out, diving into the soda and swimming for all you’re worth.

“Yuck!” Hansel says, spitting. “It’s lemon-lime! I hate lemon-lime soda!”

The two of you make it to the edge of the lake and duck into a cave made of toffee rocks. For the next several hours, you can hear the space glob outside searching for you. Every now and then, the glob burps causing the ground to shake.
